1. Introduction

Trip Saver Pro (“we,” “us,” “our”) respects your privacy. This policy explains, in plain language, how we handle information when you use the website tripsaverpro.com and the Trip Saver Pro Chrome extension.

Our core commitment: we collect the bare minimum of data, and anything you share with us is always voluntary. Most of what Trip Saver Pro does (automatically finding coupon codes) requires no personal information at all. The VIP Lite feature (section 3b below) is the one exception — it only activates when you choose to enter your email.

2. Information we do NOT collect

For the automatic coupon-finding feature (Trip Saver Pro’s core function), we never collect:

Your name, phone number, or any identifying information
Login credentials (username, password) for any platform
Credit card, bank account, or payment details
Booking details, travel itineraries, or trip information
Your browsing history or search behavior

Note: email addresses are not on this list — see section 3b for exactly when and why we collect an email address.

3. How the extension works

The Trip Saver Pro extension has two independent parts: (a) automatic coupon detection, and (b) the optional VIP Lite program. Details on each below.

3a. Automatic coupon detection

When it activates: Only when you’re browsing pages on trip.com or tripworld.com that have a coupon-code field (usually the checkout/payment step). The extension does nothing on any site outside these two domains.

What it does: Detects the coupon field → retrieves the list of currently active codes from our server → tests each one automatically → keeps the one that saves you the most.

What it does NOT do: It doesn’t read your account information, doesn’t store your payment history, and doesn’t collect an email address or any personal data for this part of the extension.

3b. VIP Lite program (optional — invite friends & get deal emails)

Invite Friends · Unlock VIP is a completely optional section inside the extension’s popup. When you use it, we collect:

An anonymous identifier (userId) — a random string generated on your device, not tied to your name or any account.
An email address — only if you choose to enter one in the “Save” field to receive VIP notifications.
Your invite count — how many times you’ve clicked “Invite” to unlock a VIP perk (the threshold is 3 invites).

This data is stored on our servers (Vercel) so you don’t lose your VIP progress if you reinstall the extension, and so we can email you VIP offers if you’ve opted in. You can use 100% of the extension’s core features without ever touching VIP Lite.

4. Technical data (anonymized)

When you visit tripsaverpro.com, our web host may automatically log standard, anonymized technical information such as IP address (anonymized), browser type, and access time. This is standard for any web server and is not used to identify you personally.

We may use anonymized analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics with IP anonymization enabled) to understand overall traffic and improve our content.

5. Our affiliate business model

Trip Saver Pro earns revenue through affiliate links: when you complete a booking after one of our coupons has been applied, we may earn a small commission from the booking platform (trip.com, tripworld.com). This:

Never increases the price you pay — your price stays the same or lower thanks to the coupon
Never requires any personal information from you
Is the only way we’re able to keep the service free for users

6. Cookies

tripsaverpro.com may use basic technical cookies (e.g. session cookies) needed for the site to function normally. We do not use advertising-tracking cookies or third-party cookies to analyze individual behavior.

7. Sharing information with third parties

We do not sell, rent, or share any user information (including VIP Lite sign-up emails) with third parties for commercial purposes. VIP Lite data (section 3b) is used internally only, to run the VIP program and send deal notifications.

8. Your rights

For the automatic coupon-finding feature, we don’t store any personal data of yours, so there’s nothing to delete or correct.

If you signed up for VIP Lite (entered an email), you can request deletion of your email and all related data at any time by contacting privacy@tripsaverpro.com. We’ll process the request within 7 business days.

9. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we’ll update the “Last updated” date at the top of the page. We encourage you to check back periodically.
